Origen Consultancy is an independent advisory firm based in Georgia, focused on government, regulatory, and market-entry advisory.

The firm was established by former senior officials with direct responsibility for international economic relations and foreign policy.
Founders
Teimuraz Janjalia - Co-Founder & CEO
Teimuraz Janjalia is an international and economic relations expert with 26+ years of experience in government and private sector leadership. He specializes in export development, investment promotion, market entry mechanisms, and international partnerships, helping companies access new markets and attract investors. As a former Ambassador of Georgia to Latvia and senior official in the Foreign Ministry, he led high-level negotiations, EU cooperation, and economic diplomacy initiatives, including major regional connectivity and energy projects.
He has worked closely with international organizations such as the EU, UN, OSCE, and BSEC, and has practical experience supporting businesses in cross-border trade, investment projects, and strategic networking.

​​His career also includes direct private-sector experience in production, construction, and food services, giving him a practical understanding of how international strategies translate into operational and commercial realities.​​​
This background brings a results-oriented, business-focused approach to Origen Consulting’s work, helping clients expand internationally, identify strategic partners, and navigate complex regulatory environments.
Alexander Kipiani - Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Alexander Kipiani brings extensive experience in international economic relations, cross-border institutional engagement, and multilateral cooperation. He has represented Georgia across Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East, including senior assignments at the Embassies of Georgia to Israel, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and the Netherlands, as well as leadership roles within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

His professional background also includes service at the Revenue Service of Georgia, where he developed in-depth expertise in taxation, customs, and compliance frameworks relevant to international business and investment. In parallel, experience in the private sector has involved curating international cooperation initiatives, further strengthening his understanding of how cross-border commercial and institutional partnerships are structured and implemented.
